Minutes of the November 13, 2022 meeting of the Michiana Bonsai Study

Present:   

       Larry Benjamin, Rose Benjamin, David Bohn, William Bohn, Lisa Chilik, Andreea Cope, Mike Cope, John Deguara,

               John DeMaegd, Jimmie Lyon, Kevin Mann, Wanda Walker, Norris Whitfield and Al Whitfield

Location: 

              Ho Ping House Restaurant 

Program:

         We met at the restaurant at 1:00 instead of our usual 2:00 PM because this was an end-of-year luncheon.

Before lunch we deposited our "white elephant" raffle gifts on a table and some of us paid our 2023 dues. We then

ordered and enjoyed our Chinese cuisine. After lunch Rose picked numbers from a hat to determine the order in

which we picked our gift.

     Before we departed Larry announced that our 2023 schedule is up on our website. It includes our yearly meeting

with our guest speaker, former member Cat Nelson, in February. He also said that the American Bonsai Society

annual Learning Seminars (convention) in 2023 will be in Denver and the 2024 one will be at Meijer Gardens in

Grand Rapids (relatively close).
