Minutes of the June 14, 2015 meeting of the Michiana Bonsai Study

This was a "BYOT" ( bring your own tree ) event. So, we all brought trees to work on. Cheryl worked on a Mexican pine that she has had since 1975. Bill and Norma got help from John working on their junipers. Larry did a little work on his trident maple, shimpaku juniper and crape myrtle. Although it was quite humid, the rain held off and we took a break a little over half way through the meeting to have some "brownie brittle" and lemonade. Larry reminded everyone of next month's MABA convention in Indianapolis and encouraged everyone to try to attend - even if just for one day. (Go to "www.MABA2015.com". In addition, Larry reminded everyone that our club activity for July is to join the Fort Wayne club for their auction and picnic at the home of their president, Darlene Kittle, on July 18.
