Minutes of the April 10, 2011 meeting of the Michiana Bonsai Study

Present:         John Demaegd, Cat Nelson, David Rogers, and  Sue Salach

Location:        Home of David Rogers, Rochester, Indiana

Snacks:          Mrs. Rogers

Program:       With shovels in hand our little group trudged out to the field where the plant material

               was located. Members were invited to choose their favorite specimens and then dig them

               up to take home.  (Cat made quite a find! ) Sue's quarry included a shimpaku, a Chinese

               elm and a wild mulberry.

              Before leaving, those present voted to adopt the proposed club charter. Along with those

              who reported earlier, we now have affirmative votes from eight paid members so, the
